Silver Antique Lockets

Silver, Antique Locket - "925"?

I have an antique locket that was given to me about 15 years ago, as a child.
It opens to two oval frames, about 1 cm wide, fo photos. In one od these frames it says 925. The "clasp" thing is like a 2 mm pin that you push into a hole. The front is textured (like corss hatched). Kind of like grass, or peacock feathers.
I can't find any kind of hallmarks though.
What can you tell me about this?
Thanks,

The "925" means that it's sterling silver. I'm afraid I can't tell you much else about it, but I suggest that you have it examined and appraised by a reputable professional jeweler.
